The works entailed the construction of a new community facility incorporating a learning resource centre, sports/activity hall, recording studios, sensory room, full kitchen and café area.
The Phoenix Centre is a combination of youth centre, performance space, Connexions information, advice and guidance centre, young people’s healthy living centre, language and cultural centre and business/social enterprise model. It is a meeting place where young people can relax and feel secure.
It is a meeting place where young people can relax and feel secure and are able to enjoy a wide range of activities and services including youth arts activities such as drama, band practice, singing, art, sculpture, dance, music-making, recording, DJ-ing and MC-ing, and sporting activities including competitions and tournaments in football, basketball, table tennis and trampolining.
