The first retail unit (known as Block B) now occupied by Sainsbury was constructed from a steel frame with masonry block infill, finished with render.
The second retail unit (known as block A) which is occupied by Pets Corner has the residential flats situated above. The flats have been designed to meet the energy requirements of the Code for Sustainable Homes level 3 and benefit from Whole House Heat Recovery Ventilation and High Efficiency Boilers to aid in the reduction of utility bills.
