This new development replaces the existing derelict units of retirement accommodation and provides 14 units of affordable housing for Clarion Housing Group residents.

The flats are designed to a minimum standard of Part M4(2)Category 2 - Accessible and Adaptable Dwellings, including step-free access to entrance ways, modified WC approach zones and circulation within each unit. All units meet or exceed the minimum standards stated in the ‘Nationally Described Space Standards’, and have an en-suite bathroom in addition to a main family bathroom, and private balconies or terraces.

Landscaped car parking is well-lit and overlooked by the dwellings, which are built to Secured by Design standards. 14 secure and covered cycle parking spaces are also provided.

External surroundings have been landscaped with existing mature trees and hedges retained and new planting and trees introduced.
