The existing school building is 861m2 and was the subject of extensive internal alterations. The new 2-storey extension added 742m2 to the floor area. Both buildings, the new and the old, house classrooms and specialist teaching and staff rooms.

The extension was constructed using a cross laminated timber system clad in facing brickwork with aluminium and timber composite windows. The pitched roofs were finished with plain tiles.
