The new glass-fronted and timber-clad structure has been built on a platform raised on concrete columns set into the beach at Lepe, on Southampton Water.
The elevated position offers panoramic Solent views and also future-proofs the building against rising sea levels or tidal storm surges. The exterior of the building is clad in larch which weathers well and ensures that the building sits sympathetically within this very special landscape.
Throughout construction, our dedicated Site Manager achieved 'Performance Beyond Compliance Standard' within the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
