The works comprised the construction of a 4-court sports hall with associated stores, viewing area, changing rooms, dedicated disabled changing provisions, office for sports staff, toilets, two
classrooms and multi-purpose hall.
The steel-framed building is supported on mass concrete foundations, with screeds, (other than in main sports hall), beam and block ground floor, part through colour render over a brick plinth and part PPC cladding over low-level brickwork facades, beneath an aluminium roof covering. The project also included the provision of associated mains and services, M & E Installations, external drainage, and hard and soft landscaping.
